Step 1: visit http://processing.org/download/, and download the “windows” version.

Step 2: extract it to a folder

Step 3: download controlP5 from http://www.sojamo.de/libraries/controlP5/, and extract it to a different folder

Step 4: Start processing, go to file->preferences and find the sketchpad folder for processing. In my case, it’s C:\Users\Shengdong Zhao\Documents\Processing, and add a folder called “libraries” (if it’s already there, you don’t need to).

Step 5: copy the controlP5 folder into the library folder

Step 6: restart processing
